The 240ha vicinity of GWK Cultural Park can be a challenging area to cover. Some of us just do not have enough time or energy, or even both. When taking a walk around the park is just not your style, you can always turn to Segway.

Segway is an advance two-wheeled vehicle with self-balancing technology, electric powered. The name ‘Segway’ is a homophone of ‘segue’ (a smooth transition). Computer and motoris in the base of the device that keep the Segway upright when powered on with balancing features enabled. Users lean forward to go forward, lean back to go backward, and turn by using a “Lean Steer” handlebar, leaning it left or right. Segways are driven by electric motors at up to 12.5 miles per hour (20.1 km/h). Gyroscopic sensors are used to detect tilting of the device, which indicates a departure from perfect balance.

Enjoy and ride for fun in this future vehicle here at GWK Cultural Park, as the first place of Segway ride in Bali. Try gliding around Lotus Pond area, which offers a different experience that can never be found elsewhere.
